Amin Tohari

For the last twelve years, Amin Thohari has been doing research on public policy, human rights, and local politics. He is also involved in different social transformation trainings and research educaiton in serveral universities and togehter with researcher groups inside and outside the country. Today, he is a doctoral candidate in Gajah Mada University.

Amin Tohari holds an expertise in agrarian policy and rural studies as well as governance politics and natural resources institutional. He has done many collaboration with different level of government institutions to formulate strategy of sustainable development planning policy, participative budgeting and village empowerment strategies.

Wahyudin Nur

Swan Vri

For the last fifteen years, Swan Vri has been actively facilitating critical educaiton and involved in different sector of social movement, such as peasant movement, workers movement as well as student movement. He initiated many learning groups, production groups, and village activists network, especially in West Java, South Sulawesi, Central Java, Papua and West Papua.

Swan Vri holds the expertise of critical education facilitation in political economy, social movement and organizational development. Today, he is active in the formation of international network againt mega-infrastructure development in Asia.

Dian Yanuardy

For the last ten years, Dian Yanuardy has been doing research in political economy of development, agrarian change and rural sosial movement development. During the period of 2011-2013, he was involved in international researcher network in exploring global land grab issue. He also involved in different  study forums, research and conference for social movement in New York, South Africa, and Den Haag.

Today, he is organizing activists-researcher network against economic corridor development and Asia mega-infrastructure development.

Maria Latumahina

Maria Latumahina is a critical education facilitator with her main focus especially on gender, human ecology, and social transformation. She has long experience on critical education with different communities in Papua and West Papua for at least twenty years.

Maria Latumahina holds deep understanding and  insight on natural resources management in Indonesia. She was involved in many forest governance reform, conservation and community empowerment.

Surya Saluang

For the last ten years, he has been developing and producing action research network for young people from different areas: Maluku Islands, Java, and Sulawesi. Surya Saluang also has been developing international researchers-activists since two years ago. He builds the learning groups from the remoted areas in the islands to accross countries (Asia and Europe). Today, around 20 groups in different areas are working with their respective communities to do investigation on different social ecological changes and developing recovering actions creatively.

Surya Saluang is interested in participatory method development, archipealgic social ecological perspective, and subsistance economics.
